Cosmic Guardians: Rise of the Void King
The Void King does not conquer. He offers rest. Five broken protectors stand at the edge of a galaxy that has quietly agreed annihilation might be mercy — and choose, issue by issue, to disagree.
Synopsis
Xylo Rift Station: the last free port before the deep dark. No flags, no borders, everyone trusts it — right up until a Nihilist cult incursion cracks it open and something ancient stirs in the wreckage.
The Void King doesn’t threaten. He was once a Guardian himself, and he speaks now only of rest and release — a philosophy that spreads faster than any weapon. Five strangers, each a survivor of a world that chose surrender, are the only ones left who haven’t agreed to stop fighting.
The Void King
Not chaos — certainty. He convinces civilizations that annihilation is mercy, and weakens only when defiance spreads, even unsuccessful defiance.
The Guardians
They fight not because they’ll win, but because refusing is the only way to remain human. Hope isn’t a belief here. It’s a choice, repeated.
